Cigar News: Davidoff Announces BLEND Bar Exclusive Cigar

Davidoff Cigars has announced a new cigar exclusive to BLEND Bar, dubbed “BLEND Exclusive Salomones.” The cigar measures 8.5 x 57, making it one of the largest Davidoff cigars ever made. It is available only at BLEND locations. The two companies have a five years long partnership going and the cigar is rolled by a select few of the most talented rollers at Davidoff Cigars. The concept of BLEND originated in Indianapolis, IN during 2013 and expanded to Nashville, TN, Pittsburgh, PA and The Woodlands, TX. In October 2015, BLEND announced a strategic partnership with Davidoff of Geneva USA. The partnership is the first and only one of its kind in the United States incorporating the “Davidoff of Geneva – since 1911” look and feel. Patrons of BLEND locations are offered premium cigars, spirits and wines in a social-friendly nightclub environment featuring exquisite design and furnishings and state-of-the-art ventilation systems which exchange lounge air every six minutes.

Fratello Cigars has announced a limited-edition humidor. Only 100 of these humidors will be made and each will contain 40 limited edition sizes of Fratello releases. The humidor has two levels and holds 100 cigars. Each comes with built-in chrome finish hygrometer.

Cigar New: Cigar Dojo and Joya de Nicaragua Announce Ninjaragua

For the first time, Cigar Dojo and Joya de Nicaragua are collaborating on a cigar: Joya Ninjaragua. The blend has been in the works for over two years, making it the longest project Cigar Dojo has worked on before releasing. The first test blends were given out at a Cigar Dojo-led Drew Estate Cigar Safari, where a group of roughly 15 Dojo members (including myself) were given three test blends. Those members then provided feedback and the most popular blend was then tweaked several more times until the final blend took shape.

Cigar News: Daniel Marshall Announces Exclusive Humidor with Corona Cigar Co.

Daniel Marshall has announced a new Limited Edition FSG Tobacco Stake Humidor in Collaboration with Corona Cigar Co. Only 10 of these one-of-a-kind humidors will be sold. Each is hand-crafted using wood from antique tobacco stakes that have been in use for nearly half a century. The stakes were used to hang cigar tobacco in curing barns in Connecticut and more recently at Jeff Borysiewicz’s Florida Sun Grown (FSG) tobacco farm in Clermont, Florida. These stakes were used to hang leaves of some of the world’s best tobaccos, transforming freshly harvested green tobacco leaf into  fragrant, golden brown cigar tobacco wrapper leaf.
